ORIGIN DAY: DARWIN’S MONTH AND YEAR
150 years ago, to be precise on the 24 November 1859, Darwin published his seminal book On the Origin of the Species …His influence on our work is slowly but surely gaining ground. Stephen Marshall and Mike Batty amongst many, are assessing his contribution. Drill down.
       
COMINGS, GOINGS, AND GONGS
Martin de Jode, Steven Gray, Ralph Barthel and Benjamin Blundell have joined the TOTEM and NEISS projects, Maurizio Gibin has been appointed to a permanent lecturership in GIS in Birkbeck, and Andy Hudson-Smith has been elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts for his expertise in Urban Planning and Visualisation.
       
TOWERS OF LONDON: A NEW CASA-URBAN LABORATORY INITIATIVE
