GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND SCIENCE
The third edition just released is full of examples of our work. It is bigger and different from the other editions and shows how GIS/Sc is changing to Web 2.0, applications, visualisation, modelling. Paul Longley and his colleagues have produced a startlingly well designed book in full colour which features many new ideas and applications.
       
MRes in ADVANCED SPATIAL ANALYSIS & VISUALISATION TO START 2011
CASA is offering a new course full-time one-year course starting in 2011 focussing on complexity, modelling, mapping and visualisation and pulling together the latest research in urban form, functionality and communication. Note that the lead time is for next year, not this year as previously announced.
