Besides basic calculations including
sin, cos,
log, sqrt and root, it has quite a few useful
functions:
-conversion of units (e.g.
metre to mile)
-calculation of hexadecimal, octal
or
binary numbers

Electric eraser |
Now that computers almost replaced
pen & ink
or other traditional stationery, erasers seem to
be of no use. But when I get stuck in writing a
paper / proposal. simple repetition of drawing
maps/ bullet style lists and correcting them
often leads me to breakthroughs.
This electric
eraser is equipped with a sleek design and a
strong torque which remove any marks and lines instantly with a
gentle touch.

Casillero
del Diablo |
The
latest craze among my close friends is
this white wine from Chile. Although none of us
has a knowledge on wine further than the
diffrence between Chardonnay and Cabernet
Sauvignon, we all agree this is SOMETHING!
Particularly in terms of price/quality balance,
few other Chardonnays may match this only £4
wine. |

YAMAHA P200 |
The
88-key Graded Hammer (GH) effect
keyboard accurately simulates the acoustic phenomenon whereby
the lower pitch keys are
heavier to the touch and the higher pitch keys
are lighter-the normal feeling of an acoustic
piano. So the action on this digital piano is
as close to the real thing as I can get from
acoustic ones. More MIDI-oriented users
may also be satisfied with its full range
of 16 MIDI channels and 16MB wave memory. |

ALTEC Lansing

The
tinny-sounding speakers that came with
my laptop are pretty uninspiring and it's
sometimes hard to catch the sound from it.
Since I got these High-Quality Stereo with 70 Hz - 18 kHz (-10
dB) SYSTEM RESPONSE
and with SIGNAL TO NOISE RATIO @ 1 KHZ INPUT: > 70 dB, I've
never regret chucking away TV and watching only DVD and that
are available online. |

I
DO like and usually don't mind listening to
people chatting around me, but sometimes
need concentration. Then, turning on my headphones, I can listen
to all noises
just fade away! |
